Medication Management
Our caregivers help ensure the right medications are taken on schedule, while watching for medications that can cause dizziness or affect balance and mobility.
30-Day Home Safety Checks
With a care plan in place, our care team performs regular 30-day home safety checks to recognize and address new hazards before they cause a fall.

Is Safe Stride Program right for your loved one?
Safe Stride may help if your loved one:
- Has fallen recently, or had one or more near-misses
- Feels anxious or fearful about falling
- Has become unsteady on their feet or while standing
- Uses a cane, walker, or other assistive device
- Takes medications that cause dizziness or drowsiness
- Has a home with trip hazards, stairs, or poor lighting
- Has vision or balance problems that affect mobility
- Is recovering from a fall, fracture, or hospital stay
Why fall reduction matters so much
Falls are the leading cause of injury and death in many adults over 65. Many people don’t realize how serious a fall can be — recovery is often held in a rehab center, and sometimes in a long-term care facility for a year or longer, with lasting physical and emotional pain.
Safe Stride is built to prevent that. By recognizing hazards, putting a proper care plan in place, and performing ongoing safety checks, we reduce the number of falls and help your loved one stay safe, confident, and independent at home.

Navigating home care for a loved one is a big decision. We’ve put together guides to help you make informed choices with confidence.
What exactly is the Safe Stride Program?
Why is fall reduction so important?
Falls are the leading cause of injury and death in adults over 65. A serious fall can lead to long recoveries in rehab or long-term care facilities — sometimes a year or longer — along with lasting physical and emotional pain. Preventing falls protects your loved one’s health, independence, and quality of life.
What happens during a home safety check?
Our care team reviews the home for hazards such as loose rugs, poor lighting, cluttered walkways, and bathroom risks, then recommends simple changes. With a care plan in place, we repeat these checks every 30 days to catch new hazards.
Can caregivers help with walkers and assistive devices?
Yes. Our caregivers are trained to safely assist with walking and getting in and out of chairs using canes, walkers, and other assistive devices — and to encourage their proper, consistent use.
