What Safe Stride Program includes
Safety & Assistance
Many seniors live with anxiety over the fear of falling. With the right caregiver, your loved one gets safe help walking and getting in and out of chairs — including with assistive devices.
Medication Management
Our caregivers help ensure the right medications are taken on schedule, while watching for medications that can cause dizziness or affect balance and mobility.
30-Day Home Safety Checks
With a care plan in place, our care team performs regular 30-day home safety checks to recognize and address new hazards before they cause a fall.
Fall Hazard Recognition
We identify trip hazards, poor lighting, loose rugs, cluttered walkways, and bathroom risks — then recommend simple, effective changes.
Mobility & Gait Support
Hands-on assistance and encouragement with safe movement, transfers, and walking to rebuild strength, stability, and confidence.
Personalized Fall Reduction Plan
A care plan built specifically around your loved one's fall risks, home environment, health conditions, and mobility level.
Trained Caregivers
Our caregivers receive continuing education and hands-on training in fall risk reduction — a core part of how we keep clients safe.

Falls are the leading cause of injury and death in many adults over 65. Many people don’t realize how serious a fall can be — recovery is often held in a rehab center, and sometimes in a long-term care facility for a year or longer, with lasting physical and emotional pain.

What happens during a home safety check?
Our care team reviews the home for hazards such as loose rugs, poor lighting, cluttered walkways, and bathroom risks, then recommends simple changes. With a care plan in place, we repeat these checks every 30 days to catch new hazards.
Can caregivers help with walkers and assistive devices?
Yes. Our caregivers are trained to safely assist with walking and getting in and out of chairs using canes, walkers, and other assistive devices — and to encourage their proper, consistent use.
